God’s word to abraham a portion  of the plan for mankinds redemption by calling it a blessing and a blessing that would be given thru a seed or 1 of abrahams descendants and this seed of abraham will not only be a blessing for abrahams descendants but rather the entire world.

Sin necessitated that there be a go b/t God and man. This is the priest under the mosaic covenant.
